Keeping it traditional

A far cry from the glitzy cricket matches and football tournaments, traditional sports continue to thrive across Pakistan. Although the style of each varies across the length and breadth of the country the folk essence still remains.
Bull racing is quite popular in Asia and South American, the only variation being the style of the sled that pulls a jockey. The races usually take place during cultural festivals, as is the case in Pakistan and the colourful tournaments consist of races between two pairs of bulls, each team pulling a rider and sled. -Photo by APP from Chiniot, Pakistan
